What are the driver's licence and age requirements for renting a vehicle?

Accepted Answer

For tourists: you must be at least 23 years old and hold a valid international driving licence.

For students: you must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid TRNC (Northern Cyprus) driving licence.

Important: the licence must be in Turkish or English. Licences in other languages are not accepted, even with a formal translation.

Can graduated students rent a vehicle?

Accepted Answer

To rent a vehicle using a Turkish (TC) or international licence after graduation, the individual must exit the island and re-enter under "tourist" status.

Which payment methods can I use?

Accepted Answer

You may pay by Cash, Credit Card, Bank Transfer or Mail Order. All prices are inclusive of VAT.

Question 4

Can I get a refund if I cancel my reservation?

Accepted Answer

Deposit: deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Full payment: if the full amount has been paid, 70% of the total will be refunded provided the cancellation is made at least one week before the rental date. No refunds are issued for cancellations made less than one week in advance.

Early return: if you return the vehicle before the contract end date, no refund will be provided for the remaining days.

What should I do in case of an accident?

Accepted Answer

In the event of an accident, you must immediately notify both our company and the police.

Warning: accidents without a police report, or those involving the influence of alcohol or controlled substances, are excluded from insurance coverage. In such cases the renter assumes full financial and legal responsibility.
